The Most Popular Playlists on Spotify

Spotify is incredible.  I can use their service across a wide variety of platforms and I couldn’t be happier to be a Spotify Premium member.  That said, I am slightly disappointed I can’t quickly discover popular playlists (where some of the thinking about the underlying group of music is done for me).  There are a few services that purport to be mechanisms to see popular playlists, but these services are doing little in the way of actually telling me which playlists are really the most popular.  They basically know a certain set of playlists and keep track of those playlist.  So, I went ahead and wrote a tool that can do this.

Here’s to hoping Spotify implements a feature to allow searching for popular playlists.  Until then, hopefully this can  partially suffice.
